It has been a while...
DreamMachine hasn't made much progress over the last week because of other school needs. Yesterday, we made more progress on the frame, and the Ramps board is starting to get soldered. Take a look:
This is the progress from the day before. Keep in mind this board was a completely empty board before we started.
Here is a little shot of Matt soldering in action! Rumor has it that he is a thumb model.
A little more progress on the board.

Back From Spring Break!
After returning from spring break today, we started assembling the printer. We got the two support triangle frames made, and started working on the Y axis. Noticing that we had no fender washers ordered, we decided to stop there and work on some other school work. We will be getting some fender washers tonight to keep progress going on this frame for tomorrow.
Here we have one of the triangle-frame assembled
And the two triangle-frames assembled
And finally part of the Y-axis

A Few More Prints...
We had a busy week this week besides working on the 3D printer, so we didn't get a lot of progress in. But we had 2 days that we printed more parts. Here they are below:
The parts were printed with our ColorFabb "Dutch Orange," and "Lila." We believe we only need one more print, and then all the printable parts will be done! Next week is spring break, so we have a week off of the printer and then we will be working hard on the assembly!

3D Printer Time Lapse
After many complications with uploading this video, we finally got it up! Here it is:
It looks a little funky because the bed on this printer moves, not the extruder. If it were the opposite, it would look much smoother and turn out a lot better! Also, if you go under settings on the youtube video and put it on .5x speed, it looks a little better.

Greenish-Blue Goodness!
This print has to be the smoothest print we have had yet. It came out awesome! The top layer still could be improved, but other than that it looks great. The Colorfabb color we used this time was "Mint Turquoise". Take a look:
Also, the time lapse we are uploading has been delayed for next week. Our computers at school do not support the video, so we will have to edit the video over the weekend.
